Phuket
The vibrant city of Phuket has lots to offer, from good parties at the party road Patong beach to beautiful viewpoints all around. Discover the old town of Phuket with his colorful houses and find out where I had my most comfortable bed ever during all my travels. Rent a scooter to get everything out of an one/two day trip to Phuket and enjoy your flexibility.
Patong Beach
Patong Beach road is the party area of Phuket. You have different bigger clubs here also the number 15 of the world Illuzion. You can go to different bars for some drinks and live music. They have a really nice food market for some amazing local food, you can shop some fake designer stuff here as well and if you would like to relax before the party go to Patong massage for a relaxing 1 hour massage. It was my best massage in whole Thailand. For the people that would like to be shocked you can go to a pingpong show and for the people that want to be less shocked there are also some other shows less intens. In case you are interested in the Pingpong show, it is easy to find it, but it is expensive! We paid 1300 bath for 2 people and it is very hard to bargain with them.
Cafe Phuket view point
This was definitely one of my favorite stops during the scooter drive around Phuket. This viewpoint is not only a beautiful viewpoint over the ocean but also has a nice ambiance and good food and drinks. They have a swing that you can use for free and where you swing over the cliffs and they also have different spots for Instagram selfies. They have good music around and it is easy to spend a few hours here to enjoy the view. Just have fun!!

P.S. another place you can visit during a day with your scooter are the big buddha and the Wat Chalong temple.
Food favorites
There are different places around for some good food. In old town Phuket you can go to cue bar for a nice lunch or dinner and I would definitely recommend you Elle cafe for a good breakfast to start your day with. In the area of Patong beach you have an amazing food market where there are to many options but it is all very good too! When you enter Patong Beach road from the beach side just walk all the way to the end and you will find it on your left side.
Old town Phuket
Old town Phuket is perfect for souvenirs and clothing shopping. In this area there are also a lot of bars and restaurants around for some good food. But what I love most about this area are the colorful houses, different architecture and the easygoing vibe. Just stroll around for a few hours, get yourself I nice lunch and enjoy the mix of locals and tourists. You for sure will love it here.
Beehive hostel
Beehive hostel is located in old town Phuket and has definitely the best beds around whole south east Asia. The are soft and extremely comfy and not just a small bed but a normal size! Besides that they have a small swimming pool where you can cool down during the hot days in the city. They offer different services like water, booking tickets for the bus or ferry etc. Just around the corner you have a 7-eleven where you can do some snack shopping and there are also different places for renting a scooter around. Check out the Z-night hostel for renting a scooter. It is the cheapest and the most fun way around the area and there you can hand in your scooter till 12 in the night in case you leave the next day early in the morning.
