Sightseeing spots Melaka
There is actually a lot to do and to see in Melaka. Did you know that there are Dutch, Portugese and British influences in the architecture of Melaka all from the time these countries colonized Malaysia.The museum in the city centre under the gate of 'Stadhuys' will tell you more about the history of Melaka and also their culture. Go see the beautiful big mosque at the water, just make sure you are properly dressed. Go on the Tamin Sari tower for a gorgeous 360 degrees view over the city of Melaka and see the big differences between the types of architecture used in the city. Take a duck boat tour to discover the city by land and by water or just walk around to see St. Paul's church, some old forts, a big ship that was used hundreds of years ago and the pittoresk streets. You won't get bored quickly in Melaka and if you need a good day of shopping, they have at least four shopping malls so you can definitely find something there.
Night market
This is really nice to do, but only possible on a Friday evening/night. The market does not only have delicious food that is save to eat for everyone, but also has many other stalls with clothing, souvenirs, jewelry and many more things. Some people like to perform and there is just too much to see there. Live music and karaoke are also happening at the night market so will definitely not get bored when you go there, Have fun!
Breakfast spots
So I went to two amazing spots for breakfast in Melaka. The most famous one is The Daily Fix. They have a really nice extended menu for breakfast with many options for the sweet tooth or the savory lovers. I totally loved the beef sandwich and the chocolate pancakes!
The other place is called The Stolen Cup which is a really cute place. The menu is a bit smaller then the daily fix but they had one of the best freshly made Iced teas! Besides that they have a lot of different croissants with to many flavors like almonds, pistachio, chocolate and many more. This place is also really nice for take away when you for example have to take a bus for a few hours. So check them both out when you are there and let me know which one you liked the most!

A huge recommendation on where to stay in Melaka is Yote28 Hostel. This hostel feels like a small hotel with really nice and clean bathrooms. The capsules are really comfortable and sound proof so you won't be bothered with noise from the outside. All the cat lovers will definitely love this place because they have three cats here. Besides that the hostel is very comfy and clean it is a really nice place to meet other travelers. They try to organize games or small tours every single day to make sure it really is a social hostel. Also the location is perfect because from there it is a 10 minute walk to almost every tourist place in the city.
