Bali
One of those places that was really high on my list and definitely did not disappointed me.
Sharing my favorite places with you during my stay in Bali, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida.

Tanah Lot
A beautiful temple in the south of Bali that is located closest to Canggu. The perfect moment to visit Tanah Lot is in the afternoon I would say around 16.30h so you have time to see everything and then you can enjoy the sunset while watching at the temple. The temple is close to the shore but when the tide is low you can walk over to visit the temple. Unfortunately the biggest part of the temple is closed and will only be used during ceremonies, but that doesn't make the temple less beautiful. Afterwards you can always have a look at some stands for some souvenirs or just to wander around.
Just a little side note for all the people that are afraid of snakes: Tanah Lot is the temple of the sea snakes. I did not see one but there is always a chance that you will see one. also a lot of locals bring their snake so tourists can make pictures with it.

La Femme Tattoo House
Kuta
This one is for all the tattoo lovers that would love to have a memory of their trip/holiday. La Femme Tattoo House is in the Kuta area and is specialized in fine lined tattoos. This is definitely a tattoo house that I would visit again. They pay attention to every detail and take their time to place the tattoo perfectly on your body so also when you move around it is still looking good and pretty. Also the time they took to finish my tattoo was amazing. A lot of care from the tattoo artist and the prices are good compared to some others that will charge you more just because you are a foreigner. And the best thing is that La Femme Tattoo House has multiple locations spread over the globe so you might find one that is closer to you in case you are not traveling to Bali.
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is a beautiful island which can be reached by boat from Bali. It only takes you 30 minutes to get there so it is totally worth it. I went with a few friends on a day tour on the west side of Nusa Penida. During the tour we went to Angel's Billabong, Broken Beach, Kelingking beach (the one you see on the picture) and to Crystal bay. We did not book a tour, we just went to Nusa Penida and found a driver there. That is really easy to do, just make sure you haggle for a good price. We were with the three of us and paid 600.000 roepia in total, which is good. The nice thing of going with a driver is that they will make beautiful pictures and videos of you, they will even climb in to trees to get the angle right for you. If you have multiple days on Nusa Penida then check out the Eastside as well!

Nusa Lembongan
What to do on Nusa Lembongan?
Definitely rent a scooter to go across the island. Besides Nusa Lembongan you can also cross the yellow bridge to go to Nusa Ceningan. Some of the highlights are devil's tears and the blue lagoon, but I would also recommend you to visit secret beach on Nusa Lembongan. For the dare devils you can go to Mahana point on Nusa Ceningan and jump from 5 or 8 meters high in to the ocean.
Dinner recommendations are definitely: Fin isaland, they do free pick up and drop off from you hotel.
Stengbali, they also do free pick up and drop off with a scooter.
Tirta Empul Temple
Tirta Empul Temple is a temple just outside of Ubud. It takes you about 30 min by scooter to get there. The temple is very important for the balinese people because of it's holy water. At this temple you can join the ritual of the balinese people by cleansing your body, soul and karma. You don't have to be spiritual for this as long as you respect the tradition. I'm definitely not a spiritual person but I enjoyed every single moment of this ritual and started to appreciate the fact that I was there and being grateful for the memories I'm making right now. It was a nice way to learn a bit more about the culture here on Bali.

Breakfast tips Ubud
Ubud is the place for a big variety of restaurants and cozy places to get some food or drinks. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so I share with you my two favorite breakfast places. Watercress is a nice place for not only smoothie bowls but also croissants, eggs with bacon and vegetarian options. The vibe is really relaxed and the food tastes amazing. Another lovely breakfast place is Acai Queens. It's not big and has only a few places where you can sit down but they have the biggest variety in Acai bowls and Acai smoothies. My favorite is definitely the Acai mango smoothie with chia seeds.
Alas Harum
Alas Harum is a beautiful combination of rice fields, big swings, picture areas and an infinity pool. There is a €3,00 entrance fee and you can enjoy the most amazing views over the rice fields. Because it was a once in a lifetime experience I chose to rent a beautiful dress and buy a ticket for one of the swings to enjoy my experience to the fullest. After the whole photoshoot we went to the infinity pool to enjoy every single minute of the good music and the view over the rice fields. It is a nice place to meet new people and to cool down after a warm day in Bali. Side note: you can swim for free but if you want to have a seat around the swimming pool you need to have a minimum spend per table. prices start from 300.000 roepia, that is around €18,00

Swimming with dolphins
One of the must do's when you are on Bali is to go to the north to a small place called Lovina. You have the chance to swim with wild dolphins in the ocean. When you go there have a look at the instagram of @erik_dolphinadventure. He is very well known with the behavior of the dolphins and what you can do and when you have to go in to the water. I was able to see multiple dolphins under water and seeing them jump around the boat. They came as close as 5 meters from me. While you stay in Lovina, go check out studio Lumbung. A very nice studio owned by a balinese family and a Dutch woman who lives there! They give you all the tips you want and it is nice for a short and a long stay.
Finns Beachclub
I definitely recommend Finns Beachclub in Canggu for all the party lovers. It is a really nice beach club with different pool areas and enough cute sitting areas. I went for the VIP area where I got a nice lounge chair, a towel, sunblock and much more. It is also possible to go there without the a VIP treatment. The music and the vibe of Finns is really nice, the drinks are affordable and the view is amazing. In the afternoon the music is becoming better and better and you can join the dance floor to meet new people to party with. Have Fun!
